Submitted by dip on 18. February 2010 - 12:40400K
Submitted by dip on 29. October 2009 - 21:20My Saab just hit 400,000 km tonight... while merging a hwy 400 ramp, boosting a healthy 15 psi at light throttle.
ECU Software
Submitted by dip on 25. October 2009 - 22:05Spent almost 4 hours tonight, troubleshooting software issues on a customer's car. The stubborn car would only run properly on one particular build of Trionic7. So incredibly frustrating! The owner exhibited wonders of patience and stayed after dark, until everything got resolved.
Blend Door Repair
Submitted by dip on 15. October 2009 - 0:07A successful blend door repair, both sides. Yay to hot air in the winter instead of summer!

Submitted by dip on 9. September 2009 - 12:00Got a complete Aero interior from AktiveMotors - just in time for my birthday. Boy, those vented seats are awesome! Big install job coming right up.

Submitted by dip on 12. August 2009 - 23:32Replaced the rear brakes with large 300mm vented rotors and calipers from an Aero. Installed Goodridge stainless braided brake lines. Pictures to come!
Screeeech! (yes, again)
Submitted by dip on 10. August 2009 - 12:40Need new rear brakes ASAP. Just picked up a pair of vented rear rotors from Aktive. Time to pull those Aero calipers from the closet. Only waiting for the stainless braided lines to arrive now.
Downtime
Submitted by dip on 24. July 2009 - 15:29The server went bottoms up on Monday. Started up, only to go down again on Tuesday, this time permanently. Thankfully, the RAID array is intact. Two days and $20 later, a new motherboard is installed (Craigslist rocks), and everything is up and running again. To everyone who emailed, worrying about the club or the gallery - thanks for your support.
9-5 Gearbox Mount
Submitted by dip on 3. May 2009 - 22:47Replaced the gearbox mount on the 9-5. Easiest engine mount job ever!
Trionic Programming
Submitted by dip on 14. March 2009 - 17:08Posted a couple of brief guides on both CAN and BDM connections to a T7 ECU. Had a overcome a few problems flashing my ECU, but everything went well in the end, thanks to the folks on ecuproject. Now running a test tune somewhere above the Aero power levels, will continue working on it. The car feels like a proper Saab now. Also enabled the SID information mod - so cool to see real time engine data on the SID.
