No, you will not be overrun by more experienced drivers. You needn't be intimidated by other drivers. That is because we place participants into groups of similar drivers, based on experience. If you've never taken an advanced or enhanced driving school before, we'll put you in our novice group. You'll find everyone else in the group is at their first event or perhaps they've done it once. Or maybe they've done a couple of schools but a long time ago.

You won't find yourself on track at the same time as a "racer" or a very advanced driver who's been doing this for 10 years.

And no, you will not hold up drivers. As we've just mentioned, your peers will be generally at the same level. So you'll all be running at more or less the same speed.

That said, for various reasons, drivers in the same group will run at different speeds. In this instance, we permit "control passing" which, you may be interested to note, the lead driver initiates. This means that everyone is able to drive at their preferred, safe pace.
