I've done lots of lapping days. Should I not be placed in a higher group?

ARCHIVE ALERT! This is a page for our old Enhanced Driving School. It is no

Our driving school is now called Enhanced Driving Synergy and current info

Not likely. At most lapping days, drivers take to the track without any classroom or in-car instruction. Possibly, a driver knows very little theory. Possibly, a driver has developed deeply-ingrained bad habits. While "seat time" is important, if it's without an educational framework, we don't give it much weight.
Also, lapping day protocol is different than our driving schools format: passing is restricted not open; driving school sessions are not open but are relatively short in length; timing is not allowed at our school events; we make you do exercises and use the skid pad so to learn real car control; your automotive insurance applies at our events! In a nutshell, we have different rules. If you've only done lapping days, you need to learn and abide by our rules.
