Saab Canada invited us to the Canadian International Autoshow again this year.
The crowned griffin reigns right in the middle of the Rogers Centre arena, you see it right away as you walk down the stairs. The Saab booth is a part of the General Motors section, next to Cadillac and Saturn.
This year Saab has a large exhibition that features the famous Aero-X concept car and the JL Racing competition Saab. Also available - four 9-3s (sedan, wagon, convertible - all in Aero trim, as well as a base sedan), a 9-5 Aero wagon, and a 9-7.
We're proud to participate. Club representatives will be available on site. Ask us about the cars, the club and the high performance driving school.

Auto Show 2007
After helping out at the Show on Saturday with Fred, I think Saab is going in a good direction. I am pleased with the setup and it is great to have the Aero X present! JL Saab is doing a great job promoting and representing. I find a lot of interest in the 9-7x. A lot of people are impressed by the price and the fact that you're getting so much in a truck! I had someone ask me a question on how much the Aero X cost, I gave them a prompt answer over $1 million! I attended the show on Sunday afternoon with my dad. We had a great time exploring the show and seeing the new Saab line up. I look forward to representing the club yet again next weekend and recommend that everyone come check out the show!!

Report from the show floor - Sat. Feb 17th
Guido and I were at the show Saturday and it was an excellent afternoon. The central location of the Saab display meant that it got quite a lot of traffic, and this translated into quite a many questions for us about the cars. It was like a press conference around the Aero X, with a continual stream of attendees taking photos. Perhaps the most interesting and surprising questions were related to the 9-7x and a number of people were surprised with how low the price was. This is a comment that I'm used to hearing more for the 9-3 SS. Finally, it was great to see the JL Racing 9-3 there. Phil Reilly was representing them on Saturday at the show and it was an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn about the race car and how well the car has made the transition from factory street vehicle to track car.

For all of you club members, remember this for next year ... and make sure you let me know early if you wish to help out. It really is a lot of fun!
Will be going to Autoshow on 21st
I will be going to the autoshow on Wednesday for the day. Yep....right before the Saab Club meeting at Katz Deli. I will spend time at the Saab booth and chat to anyone representing the club, if anyone is there. But I will look at all the other cars as well.
Should be fun!!!
