There's lots to do as soon as you arrive at the track.

1. park in an appropriate spot
2. completely empty your car
3. open the engine hood, open the trunk, leave the car unlocked - so we my inspect your car
4. gather your driver's licence and auto insurance information
5. gather the SOCCI driver's waiver, if you completed it ahead of time
6. go to registration and follow the pleasant volunteer directions; this includes but is not limited to:
• sign the track waiver (if applicable)
• sign our event waiver
• complete the driver waiver (driver's licence, auto insurance, and emergency contact information required)
• receive your paperwork (school schedule, driver/instructor roster, evaluation forms)
• put on your wristband
7. get coffee and a snack
8. return to your vehicle
9. if there are any issues encountered by the technical car inspectors, resolve them
10. check engine oil and other car fluids, if necessary
11. check tire air pressures, if necessary
12. torque the wheel bolts/nuts, if necessary
13. clean the front windshield and side mirrors
14. go to the washroom
15. review the driver/instructor roster to learn who your instructor for the day will be
16. review the school schedule
17. be ready for your first meeting!
